StayTips is established at Oude Apeldoornseweg 45-067, 7333 NR Apeldoorn, Nederland. Our KvK number is 72389443 and our VAT number is NL002149914B19. You can contact the StayTips Hospitality team at info@staytips.nl.
These terms apply to business orders and quotations for StayTips services. The customer acts for their business or profession. Are you letting accommodation as a private individual, rather than for a business or profession? Please contact us before ordering so that we can make a suitable offer. These terms do not exclude mandatory consumer rights.
Agreements in a personally accepted quotation or order confirmation take precedence where they expressly depart from these terms. An amendment to these terms does not automatically apply to an agreement already concluded.
StayTips provides a digital outings booklet for the agreed accommodation or properties. Guests open the booklet using a QR code or link, without having to install an app. The booklet contains the available accommodation details and local outings in the languages included in your subscription.
The StayTips Hospitality team handles the initial setup, selects the central outings information and updates it. You are responsible for the accuracy of your own accommodation details and must report changes we cannot know ourselves, such as amended reception hours or contact details.
For a completed outings booklet, we select at least 50 outings in different categories. It generally contains 50 to 75 tips within an area of approximately 40 to 50 kilometres around your accommodation. This area is an indicative distance, not a promise of a fixed travel time. A demo may contain a smaller sample selection.
The contents of your package are specified in your order or quotation. Features shown only as future plans, designs or examples are included only if expressly agreed. Under this agreement, StayTips does not sell admission tickets, transport, accommodation stays or package travel.
An accommodation is a separate property or location with its own outings booklet and QR code. A hotel or campsite at one location with one shared booklet counts as one accommodation. Individual hotel rooms do not count separately if they use the same booklet.
A holiday home with its own booklet counts as one accommodation. Several homes with separate booklets count individually. For a holiday park, multiple buildings or another special arrangement, we agree before ordering how many properties and booklets the offer covers.
Basic (Basis) costs €199 per year excluding VAT and covers one accommodation. Host (Verhuurder) costs €279 per year excluding VAT and covers up to ten properties under one subscription. For eleven or more properties, you receive an Enterprise quotation.
With Basic and Host, you choose two included guest languages from Dutch, German, English, Polish and French. An additional guest language costs €25 per year excluding VAT per subscription. With Host, this surcharge is therefore not multiplied by the number of properties.
Would you like to add a language or change your package during the term? You will first receive a price proposal specifying the effective date and the cost for the remaining period. The change is not made automatically and does not extend the subscription without a new express agreement. The price confirmed with your order remains applicable for the agreed period.
Before completion, you see your package, number of properties, languages, price and applicable VAT. The agreement is concluded when StayTips confirms your order or your acceptance of a quotation. A non-binding enquiry alone is not a paid order.
Unless a quotation states otherwise, you pay the annual amount in advance using the payment method offered. You receive an invoice. We start the setup once payment and the complete setup information have been received. This includes the requested business details, accommodation details and the necessary content and files.
Your own digital outings booklet goes online within seven calendar days after payment and complete setup information have been received. If anything is missing, we tell you what is still required. The period starts once the setup information is complete. If an obstacle then arises that affects the agreed deadline, we inform you and discuss a solution. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
The paid term is twelve months and starts on the date when the first outings booklet within your subscription becomes available online to guests. StayTips confirms the start and end dates. The setup period is therefore not deducted from your twelve months.
The subscription ends automatically after that period. You do not need to cancel to prevent automatic renewal. If you would like to continue, we make a new offer that you may choose to accept.
Host has one shared subscription period. If you later add a property within the capacity you have paid for, it does not receive a separate new twelve-month term. All properties end on the confirmed subscription end date, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
The fixed term does not confer a general right to early cancellation with a refund. Rights to terminate for breach or to other statutory remedies remain available.
You use the dashboard for the properties you are authorised to manage. Keep your access secure and report suspected misuse as soon as possible. Give access only to people who need it. Roles and permissions may differ by function.
Within the available functions, you can add your own details, TopTips!, guest messages and documents. Upload only content you are entitled to use and share. This also applies to photographs of people, logos and instructions. Do not put sensitive personal data in public fields.
You retain your rights to the content you supply. You give StayTips the permission needed to store, process, translate and display that content to the appropriate guests during the service. This permission does not transfer your ownership to StayTips.
In the event of demonstrable misuse or a specific security risk, StayTips may temporarily restrict the access or content concerned. We inform you as soon as it is reasonable to do so, explain what is required to restore access or content and limit the measure to what is necessary.
We work carefully to provide understandable, current information. However, a provider may change opening hours, prices, accessibility or activities. Check information that is decisive for your visit with the provider concerned. Guests make purchases, reservations and arrangements with an outings provider directly with that provider.
StayTips may use automated systems when preparing texts and translations. Where the dashboard requires a check or approval, you must complete that step before the content concerned is published. A translation of instructions does not replace the manufacturer's safety information and official instructions. Report a suspected error so that it can be assessed and corrected.
Alongside genuine location photographs, the booklet may contain stock photographs and digitally generated photorealistic atmosphere images. An atmosphere image is intended to illustrate the type of outing and need not be an exact representation of the location, interior, people or current situation concerned. No specific characteristics of the location may be inferred from an atmosphere image. Rights and credits relating to third-party material remain applicable.
A guest message appears in the booklet through the functions available for that purpose. A guest must be able to open the booklet to receive information. Adding it to a home screen does not guarantee a push notification or a notification on an app icon. We do not guarantee that every guest reads every message.
Do not use guest messages as the sole means of emergency or safety communication. In an emergency, use the designated channels and emergency services.
You can send questions, change requests and fault reports to info@staytips.nl. We assess them and contact you if necessary. Unless separately agreed, a permanently available helpdesk or a fixed response time is not included.
StayTips maintains and secures the service. Maintenance or faults may temporarily limit availability. We endeavour to minimise disruption and inform you of work with noticeable consequences, insofar as it is reasonably possible to do so in advance.
Report a problem as specifically as possible to info@staytips.nl, identifying the accommodation concerned and what you see. We investigate the report and discuss a remedy. Where performance is still possible, you give StayTips a reasonable opportunity to remedy a breach before relying on termination, to the extent required by law.
StayTips is liable for an attributable breach in accordance with applicable law. These terms contain no general exclusion of liability or fixed compensation amount. You and StayTips take reasonable measures to prevent or limit damage. Where a circumstance legally qualifies as force majeure, the statutory rules apply.
After the agreed period ends, the booklet may be deactivated. The QR code and old link will then no longer provide access to an active booklet. Download your available invoices and keep any original files of your own that you need.
Would you like to receive the content you supplied yourself? Request it before the agreement ends by emailing info@staytips.nl. We discuss which available content can be returned and in what usable format. This does not create a right to a copy of the software or to all central StayTips content.
Personal data are processed and deleted in accordance with the privacy policy, applicable data processing agreements and statutory retention obligations. Termination does not mean that invoices and other records subject to legal retention obligations are immediately erased.
The privacy policy explains which personal data StayTips processes. Where StayTips processes personal data on your behalf, additional data processing agreements apply. Those agreements do not constitute permission to use guest data for our own advertising.
Dutch law applies to the agreement, insofar as mandatory law does not provide otherwise. In the event of a dispute, we first seek a solution together. If that is unsuccessful, the matter may be brought before the court having jurisdiction under applicable law. Mandatory legal protection is not restricted by this provision.
